Decking & Wood Cleaning

Decking may look good when first installed but can soon look 'tired' and grubby if not looked after on a regular basis. The damp climate in the UK makes it easy for algae and moss to quickly spread across the surface of decked areas, particularly shaded sections.

If  the green algae in particular is left unchecked, it can result in the wood becoming very slippery underfoot in damp or wet conditions. We can pre-treat the wood with fungicidal wash and have specialised rotary headed cleaners to pressure clean the decking without damaging the surface.

It is best not to try to clean decking with a domestic pressure washer as it can leave unsightly marks that are virtually impossible to remove. Our pressure washers move quickly across the wood and avoid leaving these types of marks.
